Photo Study-random patterns
I haven't done a post in quite some time and I apologize for that.Unfortunately I have had so much going on.Some good and some bad, that I really have not had the time.I do hope that every one had a safe & Happy New Year/Christmas.Two things, first I accomplished my resolution from last year to quit smoking. It was a little up and down,a little on and off but finally done.Secondly I volunteered my time on Christmas to help at the city mission to feed people who had no where to go.My situation wasn't so good this year, but there is always some one less fortunate than yourself.I have to say volunteering was the most rewarding thing I have ever done.Bar none the best present I have ever gave myself. The gratification of helping someone else is second to none.It is something I will always be a part of.
Ok so what about the photo? Well I'll tell you it's one of many that I have taken in my little wanderings. There is something I really love about nature and its formations.Trees root systems are one of my favorites. There is something very Wabi Sabi about them. They also seem to inspire me.I hope you enjoy the natural random pattern in this photo as much as I do.I enjoy using these for meditation.
Being winter right now I am finding it impossible to paint with the fumes and all.My apt. is just to small and I can't aford a studio. When I do you will all be The first to know,so for now I will probably be posting more of my photography and purhapse a sketch or two.
Take care, and feel free to explore my blog or leave your comments.

Hello there my friend! I found your blog very interesting so I have added your link in my Blogroll. I hope you'll link me back. Have a nice day! http://hapiblogging.blogspot.com/
It's a beautiful photo, Gregorio! I too, love tree roots (and bark, and twigs and branches, and leaves...)
Kudos to you for helping out. You're sure right about the fact that there's always someone in more dire straits. And it's the best way to see our own cups as half-full, when we witness what others go through.
I know what you mean about the paint fumes. I'm suffering from them myself, even as I sit here and type! Choke....sputter...
Happy New Year to you, and thanks for the times you advertised on my blog!

Happy Wednesday! Bloghoppin' here... Hey, I have an interesting tutorial for you that I have written myself. It is about adding Adsense on your Single Post in XML template. I hope you'll like it! God Bless you!
your photo is very beautiful, you really have an eye to see what is formed in the roots. I love them, hope it would get warmer soon so you can paint more.
I like your blog. I love your art. Let's see some of those photos.
