New painting-untitled abstract

Newest painting and I'm having a hard time naming it .Leave a suggestion or comment,who knows I might even use it.This piece is created with oils,palette knife and a few other techniques.I am a big fan of creating layers and textures.While I was painting this all I could think about was water bugs and how they use the tension of the water to skate.As I use to spend a lot of time in the Adirondacks you gain a great deal of respect for all aspects of nature.A lot of these observations have no doubt become my inspiration.Enjoy.

This is a serious problem facing our world today.The numbers are staggering and continuing to climb.The reasons are numerous and varying everything from religious and racial persecution to war and famine not to mention natural disaster.These are all some of the reasons individuals and families are being displaced.There is now nowhere in the world that is not being effected.It use to be seen as a problem that most people in the west always saw as affecting people in more developing nations.The world has gotten smaller but the problems have gotten bigger.As we have advanced in technology it we have shrunk as humanitarians on the whole.I believe it is a time in our history as human beings to step up,to become more aware of the situations we all face.I have chosen this badge to put a face on who is effected the most,the children.Please take notice and strive to get informed today.Don't forget about them tomorrow and remember to say a prayer.Also think about how you could actually become one of them.I am posting some links here,take some time out of your busy day and visit one or all of them.
