AVACADO
Time for a new piece of art work. This is done on canvas with oil sticks which I happen to really enjoy working with.If you have never tried them you should step out of the box and give it a go.A while back I posted "Falling Leaves"and said how it was one of quite a few pieces that will go together.Well this is the second painting in that series.I have about nine pieces planed out for the series, they are currently in my sketch pad as lay outs.As I complete them I will put them on display.Unfortunately I don't just do one after another,I kind of skip around.By doing this it actually keeps all my ideas and inspirations fresh and passionate. If you enjoy these paintings all I can say is become a reader or come back to see where I am with it.Feel free to leave your questions and or comments,I will try to be timely in response.Lately I have been busy, especially with my display at the Bean and Leaf gallery/cafe in Bennington Vermont. If you happen to be in that area stop in they have great lunches and of course a beautiful display of art(mine,I had to put that in.Plug,plug,plug).All kidding aside they really do have an awesome menu and the art that all depends on if your one of my fans.My pieces will be there for the next 5-6 weeks. Now with that done I can concentrate on a little more painting.I actually feel like I'm going to have a nervous break down if I don't start a new project. There is an idea I've been toying with for a while,it's to actually take you(my faithful readers)on my next creative journey.More or less kind of take you through my next project. You know, the blank canvas then the steps, layers or all out chaos I go through.Let me know what you think. As always take care and remember to have fun with your art.

You art is so unique and would inspirer anyone. My best wishes in success.
I like your arts...very impress with your unique talents that God give you..keep it up!
I also really realy like this one. The colors are edible! :) but it is more than that. I like the way the two halves are going in opposite directioins. There is something very appealing for me about that.
Oil stick? I'm not really into art. But, this art look unique. Can you explain what is oil stick.
First I would like to thank you all for the nice comments you have posted, it is greatly appreciated.Secondly I'd like to answer Atniz question. An oil stick is quite simply oil paint in a stick form much like a crayon. They come in a variety of sizes and now have quite the color selection. As I had said in this post for anyone who is an artist looking for something new to play with this is one to try out.Explore what you can do with them.It might make you pleasantly surprised.Take care and stay open minded.
Love this piece...the green of the avocado and the blue in the back ground are a great combo! Sort of reminds me of a huge paisley pattern...
cheers
