This painting I wanted to offer a little more inter activity for everyone,I think you'll like this. Before I explain how to interact,I would like to say that I used mixed mediums of oil and acrylics to create this piece. It is on canvas with the dimensions of 36"x36". I do have others in this study that have larger dimensions, but you'll have to wait till I post them, stay tuned. As always all of my pieces are copyright material and I appreciate your respect of that, thank you.
Now on to the good stuff.Get yourself a piece of pure white paper with no lines. Why pure white? So it doesn't interfere with the colors, you'll see in a moment.Ok, you have your paper? Now put one single dot in the center of your paper, this will give you a focal point. After this is done tape it to the wall next to your computer screen,or some where that it will be easy to shift your gaze.Done?Beautiful.Look at the painting Infinity 000 , you will notice it draws you to the center(done on purpose).Gaze at the center point for about 20 seconds or more, but no less for the purpose of intensity. When you are done shift your gaze to the point you drew on your paper. You should see the image of my second piece,Infinity 001.I hope you enjoyed this little treat I posted for all of you.Take care
P.S. I'll try to get back soon I have some pic's and info I'd like to share with the artists out there from my latest walkabout in the Big Apple.Keep your ear to the ground and look for smoke signals for my next post.Or just RSS me.

This painting sure is hypnotic and mesmerizing!
Simple straight lines and circles are very effective - nice work :)
That's really excellent - I certainly got the after-image when I looked at the dot on the white paper.
I also noticed that when I first looked at 'Infinity 000' I saw white triangles painted over a spotted background; after staring at it for a few moments, my perception shifted to see the coloured triangles painted on white, instead.
Nice blog with original paintings.
Good work.
