CAPTIVITY

oil and cold wax on canvas copyright by Gregorio

The inspiration for this painting came from a dark place although the intention is good.It is actually a painful subject that I would much rather keep private.Even so I would like to hear your comments and thoughts on this piece.I hope you can see it fairly well, being that it is all black I posted a detail(bottom photo)of the painting.Photographing this one really created a challenge for me so if it is not a great view,I apologize. If you have any questions about this piece please ask in the comments and I will try to post answers asap.

Conformity, fenced, chaos.

I wish I could feel it. Are the bumps raised and the lines depressed?

Thia really is a very emotional work. The dark place that you say that this comes from is palpable!Well done.
